Release Notes
Released in the summer of 2017 after months of digital teasing, the pre-release buzz generated a record-breaking tally of digital and physical sales of over 300,000 copies in three days - resulting in a top 5 position on Billboard's World Music Albums chart. It remained the highest selling album in its domestic market for 15 consecutive weeks.

With album photography by Yiğit Eken - the guy who, along with Özgür Ülker, took over concert photography duty from long-term Tarkan photographer Sedat Mehder - the album sleeve design highlights a dynamic Tarkan against a white background and bright yellow paint lines.

The album of fourteen original tracks, titled as Tarkan's 10th studio release, sees the artist once again tweak the formulas and motifs that have made him enduring: Old and new, East and West, body and soul marry as Turkish pop star royalty, with long-time producer Ozan Çolakoğlu, help Tarkan bring nineties pop nostalgia up to date.

Tarkan's apparent longing for the golden heydey of Turkish pop is felt by the triumphant trio of Ümit Sayın, who worked on Tarkan's 1994 studio album A-acayipsin, late nineties collaborator Murat Matthew Erdem and newbie Tarkan collab, 90s pop composer Serkan (İzzet) Özdoğan. Erdem's tag team with newcomer Ayça Z. Aydın (Miya) brings the much missed heydey of the 90s into the present.

In a recording where no track is a musical footnote, the album sees the second collaboration with Aysel Gürel in a Tarkan release since their successful posthumous pairing seven years ago, and continued collaborations with poet Günay Çoban and female composer Gülşah Tütüncü.

Also noted, the 2017 musical offering showcases the lyrical skills of old favourites Sezen Aksu and Nazan Öncel. Öncel last appeared on Tarkan's 2003 album Dudu, while the artist's musical partnership with both Aksu and Öncel for this release makes it a personal first for the singer.

The album was released under the heavy sponsorship of streaming site fizy. It released exclusive remix tracks, such as a pop orient mix of "Yolla", and a "Her Şey Fani" remix produced by Turkish DJ Mahmut Orhan. The streaming platform's subscribers also enjoyed two week exclusives on the artist's first four music video drops from the album.

Tarkan's 10th solo studio outing wasn't without controversy, however, as piracy claims were made against tracks "Beni Çok Sev" and "Çok Ağladım".
